That movie turned out to be one of my favorites of all time. HEVC was designed with the idea that progressive scan video would be used and no coding tools were added specifically for interlaced video. My husband and I attended opening night and were dismayed to see that the theater was only about a third of the way full. It was mostly middle-aged couples (we"re 32 and 37) at the 7:10 showing. Despite being 2 hours and 20 minutes, we were both engaged throughout the entire film. Jessica Chastain was fantastic and I thought that she played the part very well. Her depiction of Molly Bloom as both sexy and driven was spot on, as we researched the real Molly Bloom after watching the film. Michael Cera"s character was somewhat of a villain, which is a far cry from the part he played in Superbad. Idris Elba and Kevin Costner both had supporting actor roles and gave the film really good depth. I liked how the film jumped back and forth between Molly"s childhood and current day and current day and her venture into the underground gambling world. We watch a lot of movies, and this one did not disappoint. I really want to learn how to play poker now.

I never give 10s, this is my first but I fell totally, completely in love with Jessica Chastain as Molly Bloom. If she is at TIFF this year I would love to give her a hug.
This movie had me from the opening. A brilliant young woman who is a great athlete and has a very demanding father suffers a serious ski accident. I had scoliosis surgery when I was 16 so I could identify with the young Molly who also recovered from scoliosis surgery.
The story is both entertaining and engrossing as Molly struggles to keep her life together while running a high stakes poker game. Idris Elba, Kevin Costner and the rest of the cast are also award worthy. Including Graham Green who is great in his role.
The cinematography, writing and directing are all brilliant. Maybe this movie just hit me at the right time but I enjoyed every moment.

I love Jennifer Lawrence, so this is a must see. ??. I feel like I watched the movie again because they summarized so much of it. Nice little slow roll there. Whenever I"m depressed, I pull up this video to have a nice chuckle. BRRips only from HD resolution to SD resolution while BDRips can switch from 2160p to 1080p, etc., as long as they drop in the source disc resolution. When i have one of the hands you had against me. like 68 offsuit vs. K9 full house I really wanna see how it goes. Video streams (H.264 or H.265) and audio (AC3 / OGG) are usually extracted from iTunes or Amazon Video and then reinstalled into the MKV container without sacrificing quality.

Jumanji the next level ming. I saw this earlier today and was pleasantly surprised! I don"t quite think it beats the first movie (NOT referring to 1995 Jumanji) but this one lives up to it pretty well. I laughed a lot and was very impressed with the acting. I was especially impressed by the improv the Rock, Jack Black, Awkwafina, and Kevin Hart did for their characters in different bodies. That had me laughing the whole entire time! There were a surprising number of twists involving who was in the game and what character they were portraying. And something happened near the end that ALMOST had me sobbing (then again I don"t really cry, but it did have me feeling sad) which I won"t spoil. There"s some redundancy in this movie, but it didn"t bother me at all. Lots of feel good moments and plenty of laughs.
Overall a great movie! 8/10 would recommend if you"re just looking for a good time.

The movie is a journey that guides us trough the life of Forrest. We visit Forrest"s life from his Alabama childhood to presidential visit"s to Vietnam War all the way to his days of adulthood. The director Robert Zemecis has directed this monumental piece with great sense of humor and a touch of sensitivity.
The story begins at a bus-stop where Forrest waits his bus to come and while waiting he tells his amazing stories to any one who ever sit down with him on the bench. Forrest has an interesting life. He had a crooked back when he was a boy and had to have special metal-braces attached to his legs. People are always teasing Forrest because of he has low IQ. Fortunately he has a strong-minded mother (Sally Field) who is behind his son when the world turns its back on him. He has also Jenny (soulful Robin Wright, nowadays with Penn) as his best friend. Forrest is in love with wild and troubled Jenny but she is hard to tame. Later in his life Forrest meets some of America"s most famous people like three presidents (JFK, Lyndon Johnson and Richard "Water-gate" Nixon) John Lennon, the king of rock"n"roll Elvis Presley etc. Forrest becomes a football star, Vietnam hero, pin-ball champion, famous enterprise owner and many more. Even he don"t got the smarts he still manages to get fame, fortune and respect. Nevertheless the most important thing to Forrest is Jenny. Jenny is in his thoughts all the time.
The absolutely beautiful music composed by Alan Silvestri is breath-taking. Additional music is a massive collection of 60"s and 70"s feast. Nothing can"t beat the good old "Break on Trough" by The Doors. I have also a copy of the unbelievable soundtrack.
Robert Zemecis grabbed a subject that was and is still somewhat forbidden matter in modern-day society. With these kind of abilities and talent you can make a successful combination. And I don"t understand the people who bark on "Forrest Gump. Or that fact which is suggesting that Tom Hanks didn"t deserve to win the Oscar from his marvelous lead character! You doubting Judases should make watch "Forrest Gump" 24 hours in a row to convince you that you have been seriously wrong. br> "Forrest Gump" is a timeless classic of the enduring love and finding meaning in life. Everyone who enjoys great music and underdog stories "Forrest Gump" is just right movie for you.

1:55 happiest zombie of the year lol!??????????. Maddison: it was an allergic reaction Me: that makes you look like a zombie. My son and I loved the 1st one but this was terrible. The story was boring and it was like they forgot the main focus on zombies. Luke Wilson plays a stupid role for all of 5minutes. Woody Harrelson"s character has turned into a soft loser.
And zombies people, the movie is suppose to focus on zombies, did you forget that.

These Safdie brothers are not as skilled as everyone thought - this picture lacked proper screenwriting and direction - Adam did his very best to carry a film that was put together with bubblegum. She really is like her character in the movie. Aside from the fact that there is ZERO character arc with respect to the protagonist, he"s extremely unlikeable. One could feel some sympathy or even empathy for the guy, but you can only hang in with a guy who never stops screwing up for only so long. In fact, one would have to wonder how in the world he ever managed to achieve so much in the first place. God Level. “I dont want to spoil the movie” continues to spoil the movie ????‍??.
